Operation Guide

1. Fit the die head that matches the pipe range - 1/4"-2" universal or 2 1/2"-4" receding.
2. Adjust the die head to fit the pipe diameter and set it to the required thread length.
3. Check that the threading oil comes out, and that the self-priming oil pump is delivering constant flow through the die head.
4. Tighten the rear centering device, then the front chuck, keeping the pipe on the centreline.
5. Knock the hammer chuck several times to clamp the pipe tightly.
6. Ream the inner side of the pipe end with the reamer if required.
7. Swing the handle to bring the die head onto the pipe and start threading.
8. When the die head has travelled the set thread length it opens automatically - withdraw the die head and stop the machine.
9. Cut the pipe to length with the cutter if required.
10. Clean the dies and the oil return before storing the machine.
