The SUNTECHMACH STG2AP is a roll grooving machine for plastic-lined steel pipe in 2"-12" (Φ60-Φ325) sizes. The result-oriented roller design forms the groove without damaging the plastic lining, so lined pipe can be joined with grooved couplings while the lining stays intact. It handles up to 8mm wall thickness (excluding the lining) and runs at 23 RPM, and ships complete with a steel pipe support, knurl wheels, pinch rolls and a guide wheel.

• Set the machine on level ground and mount the steel pipe support.
• Install the knurl wheel and pinch roll for the pipe size (2"-12").
• Fit the guide wheel to align the pipe.
• Place the plastic-lined pipe on the support and align the groove position.
• Start the machine; the pipe rotates at 23 RPM and the groove is formed.
• Stop, release and check the groove; confirm the plastic lining is intact.
