CG-2X 1100W Pipe Groove Cutting Machine 2"-12"

The SUNTECHMACH CG-2X is an electric motor-driven groove cutting machine for cutting a groove on the pipe end (rather than rolling a groove) of 2" to 12" O.D. pipe with 6mm-35mm wall thickness, in all materials. It uses hydraulic fixing with manual blade feeding and a cut blade for precise grooving. The motor's built-in high-performance gear reduction system enables a compact, low-noise design, while the combination of the hydraulic feeding pump and a high-quality cutting blade guarantees premium grooves and optimal efficiency. An 8"-32" size is also optional.

1. Cut the pipe square and square the end; remove burrs; grind weld bead/scale 6"/150mm back.
2. Support the pipe on pipe stands; 3m+ pipe needs at least two stands.
3. Turn the feeding hand wheel anticlockwise to lift the cut blade to top position.
4. Turn the pump relief valve to OPEN, locate the pipe on the drive roller and CLOSE the valve.
5. Press the pump lever 3-5 full strokes to secure the pipe with the pinch rollers.
6. Switch ON and confirm the pipe does not walk off; adjust stands if needed.
7. Feed the cut blade clockwise; 1/4 turn per pipe revolution ≈ 0.375mm (0.015") cut depth.
8. Keep lubricating the blade with cutting fluid to cool it — do not overfeed.
9. When the required depth is reached, tighten the stop nut and let the pipe turn 2 more revolutions.
10. Lift the blade, open the relief valve, remove the pipe and check with a groove tape.
