Pipe Cutting Machine STC Series 4 Models 2-20 Inch No Sparks No Dust Pipeline Industrial
🛠 STC Series Cold Cutting Pipe Machines — 4 Models, 2" to 20"
Introducing the STC Series Cold Cutting Pipe Machines — purpose-built for clean, spark-free cutting in construction, pipeline installation, oil and gas, fire protection, and industrial maintenance. Using cold cutting technology, the STC series produces burr-free cuts without sparks, dust, or heat damage, making it the safest choice for hazardous environments and occupied facilities.
The range spans 4 models covering 2 inch to 20 inch pipe diameters, suitable for seamless steel tubing, galvanized pipes, plastic-lining pipes, carbon steel, and stainless steel. Each machine features a high-torque gear reduction motor directly driving the cutting blade, with a manual hydraulic feed system for precise operator control.

💡 Model Guide:
• STC8A — Compact 70 kg entry model. Ideal for mobile service trucks and frequent job site relocation.
• STC12A — Best-selling mid-range covering the most common construction pipe sizes.
• STC4A — Heavy-duty dual-range model with precision hydraulic feed for thick-wall pipes up to 12mm.
• STC20A — Large-diameter specialist for heavy industrial and pipeline applications up to 20 inches.
⚙ Cold Cutting Technology
Unlike abrasive saws or torch cutting, STC machines use a rotating blade under controlled hydraulic pressure to progressively cut through the pipe wall. The reduction motor directly drives the blade, minimizing power loss. The operator controls feed rate via the hydraulic pump for clean, burr-free cuts with minimal post-processing.
Key benefits: No heat-affected zone preserves material properties. No sparks eliminate fire risk in petrochemical plants and confined spaces. No abrasive dust protects operator health. Smooth edges reduce deburring before threading, grooving, or welding.
📖 Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Operation
Add hydraulic oil (20# summer / 10# winter). Verify voltage. Confirm earthing and fuse. Run idle to verify normal operation.
2. Pipe Positioning
Place tube on rollers. Adjust bracket height so pipe is vertical to blade. For pipes 325–530mm, use long rollers.
3. Secure Pipe
Verify pipe does not shift. Tighten knurled screws, adjustment nuts, and locking nuts.
4. Start Cutting
Tighten relief valve. Turn handle quickly to form initial groove, then advance slowly and steadily.
5. Controlled Feed
Pipe must rotate at least one full turn per pressure application for even cutting.
6. Final Cut
Near completion, stop pumping. Let blade rotate freely for automatic clean separation.
7. Retract Blade
Open relief valve to return blade to high position. Remove cut pipe.
8. Blade Replacement
Loosen 4 M8 screws, swap blade, re-tighten. Do NOT loosen the round nut.
🏆 Key Selling Points
• Cold Cutting — No Sparks, No Dust — Eliminates fire risk. Safe for petrochemical plants, gas facilities, confined spaces. No hot work permit.
• Clean, Burr-Free Cuts — Smooth edges, less deburring. Ready for threading, grooving, or welding immediately.
• No Heat-Affected Zone — Preserves material properties, coatings, and galvanized surfaces. No warping or discoloration.
• Direct Drive Efficiency — Gear reduction motor directly drives blade. Minimal mechanical loss, maximum cutting power.
• Manual Hydraulic Feed — Operator controls cutting pressure. No over-feeding, no blade binding.
• Heavy-Duty Rigid Frame — Welded steel construction absorbs vibration. Extended service life in daily production.
🌍 Applications
• Pipeline Construction — On-site cold cutting of steel, galvanized, and plastic-lined pipes for water, gas, and oil transmission.
• Fire Protection Systems — NFPA 13 sprinkler piping in occupied buildings where hot work is prohibited.
• Oil and Gas Facilities — Spark-free cutting for process piping in classified hazardous areas.
• Industrial Maintenance — Safe pipe replacement in chemical plants, refineries, and power stations.
• Shipbuilding and Offshore — Cold cutting for marine piping where welding permits are restricted.
📦 Maintenance and After-Sales
Daily: Check hydraulic oil level before use. Clean working surface and apply anti-rust oil after each shift. Lubricate all moving joints. Check blade condition regularly.
Troubleshooting: Low cylinder pressure — check for contaminated oil or valve leakage. Pipe escaping during cut — verify bracket height and alignment.
